Ohno Satoshi Art Exhibition

I know you all know by now but:

人気グループ「嵐」の大野智（２７）が自作のフィギュアなどを展示する個展「ＦＲＥＥＳＴＹＬＥ」を、２月２１日から東京・表参道ヒルズ「スペースＯ（オー）」で開催する。ジャニーズ事務所のタレントがアート作品の個展を開くのは初めて。作品の写真集も同８日に発売される。展示物は黒人やネーティブ・アメリカン風の頭部フィギュア（約５センチ）１００点や、人物画などの絵画２５点、自身の顔をかたどったオブジェなど３点と、自ら撮った作品写真で計約１５０点。

個展開催中に大野が参加するイベントが開かれるか未定だが、「来てくれる人の反応が見てみたい。隠れて見に行こうかな」といたずらっぽく笑った。入場無料で２月２９日まで。

Popular group "Arashi"'s Ohno Satoshi (27) will be opening a personal exhibition "FREESTYLE" from February 21 onwards at Tokyo's Omotesandou Hills "Space (O)" with displays of figures and such that he has made. It is a first for a Johnny Jimusho's talent to open a personal exhibition of artworks. The photobook of artworks will also be sold on February 8. The displays will have 100 pieces of black/native american type figure heads (about 5cm), 25 pieces of art of people/objects, 3 pieces of object d'art of his own profile, and with photographs that he has taken as well, there are about 150 pieces.

It hasn't been decided whether there will be events opening for Ohno to participate in during the personal exhibition, but he said with a mischievous laugh, "I want to see the reactions of people who come by. Maybe I'll go take a look in disguise." Entrance is free and the exhibition is until February 29.

大野は約１０年前からプライベートでアート作品を創作してきた。ファンの間では有名な話で、「作品を見たい」という要望が数多く寄せられていたという。そこで「単純に見てもらいたかったし、（ファンが）何かを始めるきっかけになるとか、何かが伝わってくれれば」と、大野自ら個展開催を提案。入場無料で実現することになった。

For about 10 years, Ohno has been privately creating artworks. A famous topic amongst fans, many wishes of, "I want to see your works" has been arriving. So with that, Ohno himself brought forth the suggestion of opening a personal exhibition, with the thought, "I just want them (fans) to view these works, and if that could work as something to spur them forward, if that could convey something to them." It has been made into reality with no entrance fee.

Can you just feel the love he has for his fans, it's so sweet. T^T Also, I get the feeling that this is Nino's big news, because it's a first for any Johnny's to open an art exhibition. A former Johnny's, Okamoto Kenichi, has opened a photography exhibition before, but not art. (I really wish I could go view this exhibition. *weeps*) And since I'm not using a cut anyway:

WHY IS THE PHOTOBOOK SOLD THERE? T_T
I thought maybe it would be an online deal. Well, it can be with fans selling it but I'm sure the prices will be... :(

Anyway, the disguise comment? XD
All I could think of was the telephone booth when Sho was saying how Ohno disguises himself by sticking his chin out. So there's a tip for everyone - look for the man with the huge chin and it's probably Ohno *weeps*

Yeah, the prices are going to be craaazy. We should send Ohno letters being all, PUT IT ON AMAZON or something.

*LOL* omg YES. Huge chin with a hat over his face, wandering about watching people more than the artworks. Can you imagine though? Looking at the artworks and having Ohno stand right next to you without realising it. *_____*

	It's great. Congratulations Ohno! By the way, I heard from someone that Nino announced something "BIG" for arashi this 2008 and it's a first in Johnny's...could this be it? hmmm...
