Music for the people lovin'~
So! I'm in my brother's apartment and it's going to take three hours for GRA to be done... so of course, I watch V6's Musicmind MCs, while studying Korean.

I CAN NOW READ HANGUL. Except I have no idea what I just read. And, it takes me about 10 full minutes just to read a single word like "Hello" in Korean. *l-lol*

Anyway. V6 Musicmind 10th Anniversary! Naturally, it includes comments from TOKIO and Arashi, and single members from Arashi too. I figured any kind of JE band interaction is A+++, so check it out!




[10th Anniversary
Congratulatory comments]

TOKIO: Everyone, hello. This is TOKIO.
Mabo: V6, right,
Nagase: 10th anniversary.
Mabo: It's their 10th anniversary.
Gussan: Their 10th anniversary huh...
Sakamoto: That's Nagase-kun!?
Nagase: Congratulations.
Mabo: It happens real fast doesn't it~
Taichi: Right?

Gussan: We've been together with V6 since our junior days right?
Mabo: That's right.
Gussan: For Sakamoto, when TOKIO had our debut, he said, "Can't I join TOKIO?" right.
Taichi: Ahh, he did.
Gussan: He joined us once right?
Mabo: Once, right?
Taichi: He did.
Mabo: So, it seemed like he wanted to join... and when he saw TOKIO have their debut on TV, I heard that he was shocked.
TOKIO: Ahhh, of course.
Taichi: He sure recovered well after that huh.
Inocchi: TOKIO's one is long!!
Morita: (overlapping) It's long!
Inocchi: And it's not even really any sort of congratulatory comment.
Sakamoto: You're right, they haven't said a single word about that huh.
Gussan: Well, let's cooperate and aim towards our 20th anniversary together.
TOKIO: Yes.
Nagase: Congratulations.
Taichi: Let's keep working hard together.
Mabo: Yes. Thank you.

Sakamoto: Thank you very much.
Nagano: Thank you very much. Regarding TOKIO's video, it would've been fine to just go with the last 15 seconds right?
Inocchi: Well in some sense, it's sort of like a release of secrets for both groups, right?
Sakamoto: That's right. I really thought that I could join TOKIO.
Inocchi: Right? It's a good thing you're able to meet a 10th anniversary today, right?
Sakamoto: A really good thing (real feelings).



Sho: Everyone in V6, congratulations on your 10th anniversary! We're Arashi~
Ohno: At a Tonisen concert, um, at a hotel... with other Juniors, we were playing in our hotel lobby in only our underwear. It just so happened that the Tonisen members finished eating and returned. And then, we were yelled at badly by Sakamoto-kun. He said, "Stop fooling around! In just your underwear!"
Aiba: Of course he would.
Ohno: He said, "Stop fooling around!" Next to him, Inohara-kun went, "EHEHEHEHEHE." He was laughing! Was it a joke, or was he serious, which one was it!?? kind of thing.

Okada: Well, for Sakamoto-kun, he does his "Everywhere Musical" a lot. So he does it to Ohno too, huh. (*note: Earlier, V6 joked about how Sakamoto tended to say very drama-like/musical-like things that sounded so melodramatic that no one could tell whether it was appropriate to laugh or not. Like, yelling at Juniors to stop fooling around while they're dancing, then saying after that, "We need your strength you know." XDD)

Sho: I'm Arashi's Sakurai Sho! Well, this happened about a year ago but, we had a gathering with all the Kisarazu Cat's Eye people for a meal. I contacted him but, Okada Junichi-kun's mail bounced back to me. When you change your number, Okada-kun, please inform me.

Inocchi: I saw him just now.
Ken: Ah, he was there huh.
Inocchi: I saw him in the audience. Sakurai!! Ah, there he is there he is there he is!!
Ken: Ah, over here?
Sho: Um, can you tell me Okada-kun's number?
Morita: You're bringing out your cellphone all of a sudden?
Inocchi: Today you came here just to watch us and pay your respect...
Sho: Yes, of course. I wore a jacket, since it's a celebration.
Inocchi: Ah, thank you very much. When he first entered the Jimusho, he was a backdancer for us.
Morita: That's right.
Sakamoto: I see.
Sho: It's really my youth! Like "Shelter" or "MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE", it makes me go, "Uwa this is is the best!" It's AMAZING!
Inocchi: That makes us happy, right? Even though he cares that much for V6, there's a guy who doesn't tell you his (phone) address too...

Okada: I didn't tell you?
Sho: No, probably not... it bounced back...
Okada: That's right, I changed to Vodafone!! I changed to Vodafone! That's why.
Sakamoto: By the way, do you remember "MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE"?
Sho: [dances]
Sakamoto: That's amazing!
Nagano: Amazing, amazing!
Sho: This is my youth!!
Inocchi: (overlapping) Ahh, thank you!
Nagano: Amazing~!
Sho: It's my youth, really!
Sakamoto: By the way, you remember your youth, right? [dances a Hikaru Genji song with Nagano] This is our youth, isn't it?
Inocchi: I wasn't added into that though.
Sakamoto: That was our golden age, right?
Nagano: That's right. Also, I remember "Dakishimete TONIGHT" too. (*note: I think that's a Shounentai song?)



Ohno: Everyone in V6, congratulations on your 10th anniversary. V6 has been taking care of me quite a bit. I've been given the chance to be your backdancers for a while. Within that, once, when I was performing in V6's MASK in 1997, I was there as well, and at that time Sakamoto-kun said to me, "Ohno, next time, I'll treat you to delicious omurice (omelette rice)." Well, 7 ~ 8 years have passed since then so... what should I do?

Inocchi: Clearly for Arashi, because we don't really have a chance to meet,
V6: Yes.
Inocchi: It seems like there's a lot of things they want to say to us.
Ken: It's amazing huh, they can't stop after all!
Inocchi: That's right.
Nagano: Clearly it's hard to say it to our faces.
Inocchi: Yes. So today, shall we have him say it to our faces?

Inocchi: Right?

Inocchi: Clearly, you'll become a liar otherwise so, on a later date, once again, since any omurice is fine,
Sakamoto: Yes.
Inocchi: Please treat him to one.
Ken: Sakamoto-kun could just cook one for him!
Inocchi: That's disgusting!

Sakamoto: Then... want to come to my house?
Ohno: Ah, yes. I'll go.
Ken: These two...
Inocchi: Everyone, this is a lie as well, okay.
Sakamoto: WHY??
Inocchi: This won't be fulfilled either.
Morita: He doesn't have a house, after all. It's all a lie.



This is in a different segment where they have Nagano do his special acrobatic move that Inocchi calls "Dottan Battan (flailing around)". XD Aiba comes on to ask, "What is that move called?" and tries to do it on the floor. You can see Sho scrapping his chair back in the corner... and I kind of suspect the little giggling thing in the corner reflected in the mirror may actually be our young, young MatsuJun, still in his dork stage. ♥



"Dottan Battan", by the way, is a tough move that requires lots of upper arm strength and a flexible back! It involves throwing (literally) yourself forward, landing on the palm of your hands, pushing off to land on the balls of your feet, then lunging forward to land on your palms again. Inocchi barely did ten, while Morita was too terrified to even do it properly. Nagano, meanwhile, used to do that move on stage, and end it with a splendid backflip!! Even now, at the age of 33, he pulled off ten Dottan Battan without breaking a sweat, and still looked as refreshing as ever at the end. RESPECT, PEOPLE.

There's also one bit about Inocchi and Okada having naked hijinks in the shower, where Okada would sing a TOKIO song, "Ima sugu BON VOYAGE~~~" and Inocchi would instantly strip down completely naked and run into the shower to continue singing, "ASHITA WO MEZA~~~SHITE!!!" Inocchi explains it's because he thought that was Okada's signal for him to join the younger boy in the shower, because before that, when Okada walked into Inocchi in the shower while he sang, "Ima sugu BON VOYAGE~" Okada actually replied, "Ashita wo meza~shite," before shutting the door. XD

G-God, I am so tempted to write Sakamoto/Ohno fic, it's not even funny. orz
