I finally caught the flu that's going round. YAY FEVER.

But since I had this typed up last night...






Aiba: Satoda-san, do you have good reflexes?
Mai: Let's see... I'm playing indoor football, so...
Aiba: Yes yes yes.
Mai: I think I'm good at that...
Aiba: Indoor football huh...
Mai: Yes.
Aiba: It's close but far...
Mai: But I think I'm fast at running.

Mai: Yes, my 60m run is pretty fast.

Ohno: 60m??
Ogu: Aren't you a little late!?
Nino: No no, he's curious, whether it's really 60m or not.

Yes, it turns out it *is* 60m for her. XDD Also, that's right Nino, defend your slow hubby!



Either they took a break or something was cut here, because suddenly Jun went from one side of the room, all the way to the other side. It's almost as though he decided to switch sides just to do that with Ohno. |Db

Nino: The ball is rolling around! The ball's like a helicopter. [goes STRAIGHT for Ohno]

Nino: ... okay, we switched~!

[TOUCH]

Ohno: [smiles at camera]

Where are Nino's hands for the touch? Why did Nino stay there for five whole seconds? Why did Ohno smile at the end?

Boys, boys. You really should pay attention to the guest at least for a minute or two. Unfortunately, because it was judged to be a game that wasn't lively enough, it was rejected. >:



Ogu: Where does reflexes come in all this?
Aiba: For this, when you have gloves on... you normally can't peel it right? But, people with good reflexes can peel it.

I just found it funny what the rest of Arashi does -- besides Aiba, who's commenting -- while Sho is competing. Jun peels away the rest of the orange and starts eating it. In fact, he continues eating orange through the whole thing, as you can see him picking pieces from a hand. XDD Meanwhile, Ohno studies the cans like a new art project. And Nino?

Nino is sitting on the ground, calling out encouragement absently.

Camera, what camera? Never change, boys. ♥

WHO ELSE GAVE JOHNNY MORE OF YOUR MONEY FOR ARASHI TIME DVD? o/

The mangaka of HanaKimi, Hisaya Nakajo, apparently draws doujinshi of Arashi. There is also a Johnny's Junior called Sano Mizuki. Beautiful. ;; I wonder what her reaction was to having Ikuta Toma cast as Nakatsu.

Hahaha, hubby has more power over the wife, yes. xD (I love how it can totally be interchangeable to call either Ohmiya member the wife or husband, depending on how one is acting on a certain day, LOL. ♥)

Definitely! I feel this year Arashi's been working overtime...and we're only 3 months in! But yeah, can't complain when there's more Arashi goodness to enjoy :)

I went back and watched the old appearances the members did for their previous dramas, and totally LOL'd at the HYD one with Jun because the two hosts made him confess he read shoujo manga as a kid. :D

"No, see, my older sister reads them so I just picked them up--" Suuuure, Jun-chan. ♥ You should totally watch the V6 one too. >D It has a question for Ken on One Piece, on the Devil Fruits before the Alabaster Arc. As a One Piece fan, I just about died laughing at Ken's \:D/ face. I think that's the best thing about Asian artistes, we can relate to them so easily; whereas like for pop American artistes and such, most of them seem to be the "popular, party crowd" type and even if they're not, they have to make themselves fit that image to sell. That's my impression anyway. :D;;

YES, so Spring Break can roll around and I can finally catch up on the videos I haven't watched Mago Mago rowing saga, hello.

HAHAHA yeah, he looked all flustered while the rest of the cast was snickering at him xD;; Shoujo manga as a kid explains a lot, Jun, it really does. ♥

Ohhhh, I haven't seen the V6 one! Must go hunt that down and at to my list of to-watch items :D

That's a very good point...dorky American artists tend to be the indie types that are really close to their fans, and it feels like all the mainstream stars are glamour, Hollywood-red carpet style people. So it seems so much easier to be friends with, say, Aiba-chan rather than Brad Pitt. LOL.

Aibaland was so awesome this time just because of the Ohmiya, JunToshi (ass touch! OMG) and Yama. ♥♥♥ I was a huge puddle of fangirl gloop.

I also loved how they kept asking Sho if the fruit was tasty, because the way he kept saying, "Maximum umai" was sooo cute!

P.S. I also wondered why Jun was next to Ohno in the beginning, and I think it was because they put the boxing glove course last (you can tell, because when Aiba announced his Shiodome Aibaland, you can see all the cans set up, but when the Onigokko started, the set up was gone).

*cough* can you tell i've seen this episode one too many times? XD



+ I hope you get well soon! There will be more Ohno crack soon with him being on that 100 Yen Shop show. ;)

Ah, now I know what the game was. When I was looking at the screencap before, I didn't know what's going on except the fact that there's seriously lots of Ohmiya and Juntoshi going around XD

And AS;DLKFJAS;KF!!! That DVD is so expensive!!! DX

And of course, the news about Hisaya Nakajou making Arashi doujinshis X3. When I read this news in [info]honooko's journal I flailed and rolled and squeed in happiness in about ten minutes and immediately googled it to see if there're more images/cover images going around XD she made a lovely NinoAi too X3

Nino is amazing--he's perfected the art of leaning on Ohno to such a degree that he can do it when they're standing two feet apart! It's all skill.

I missed Jun with the orange the first time around, thus I MUST watch it again. Thank you for giving me such a logical reason to spend more time on Arashi. It's all practical.

oh, btw, I'm friending you--been stalking your journal for a long time and I have no idea how I didn't already add you. Thanks for always writing such interesting things!

Thanks so much for your translations and comments. I always love to read these and you always notice little things I don't. (Or we notice the same things and I get to dork out over them again...XD)

1. Jun and Ohno miming Slo-Mo Tag was pretty hilarious, especially because I love whenever Jun reverts to his dorky Jr self.

2. Ohno running into the corner and getting tagged by Nino - so ridiculous. Fanservice aside I love you Arashi!, who runs into the corner during tag!?!? ...these boys...-_-**

I didn't realize that was what was happening when I watched it before. Ohmiya team work!!!

4. Sho and the boxing gloves...He was trying so hard!! He and that bag were in a wrestling match!

5. TIME DVD!!?!? This is the first I've heard of it! I almost ordered it right now except that my account is seriously depleted (I caved and bought Freestyle by the way >_>). I really want to buy it once my paycheck clears, but is it even worth it when I don't have a region 2 DVD player??

6. Hisaya Nakajo does Arashi Doujinshi!?!?! That is so many different kinds of awesome! Where can I see this!?!?! Speaking of Doujin, I think I found a fancam of the SK performance drawn in the Doujinshi you shared with us (or atleast something like it).

My poor wallet. It was going to do so well. I'm saving up for vacation in May, and now I'm going to go broke. All my hard savings, down the drain for the time DVD. Of course, I'm still waiting for it to go on sail on Yesasia.

I just emptied out my PayPal account so it'll be a while til I can order the Arashi TIME DVD. I pre-order Ohno's DVD. Gah, so expensive. But there's only one version of the concert DVD so I guess I can wait a bit.

Aww, Jun looks really happy. I love Jun and Ohno together. Too cute!

That's the coolest version of tag I've ever seen. Ahh, the Nino/Ohno/Jun moments all over the place, it's like Japan loves and wants us to be happy. XDDD Did you notice, when they're making faces at each other, that Ohno's face kinda 'resets' manga style when Nino thwacks him in the back of the head? And I know enough Japanese to recognize that when they're going and Jun gets tagged, Nino's hollering "He's a real ogre now!" >:D

Ahh, Ohno has the best expressions this episode. ^_^ Thank you for your commentary and translation, it makes things so much clearer, and your takes on things are always hilarious. <3

basically the presence of the guest wasn't required at all for the tag game. our boys were happy playing amongst themselves. NO ONE even attempted to tag the guest...i feel sorry for the guest. ^-^

i bet jun feels better touching ohno's butt than kicking it, i'm sure! hime, can i exchange places with you?

i was totally rolling on the floor with laughter when i saw the yama pair...kawaiiiiiiii.

i can't wait for them to show ohno's and jun's glove competition. ooh, and i second your suggestion (ohno stripping down to shorts and sweating) *fans self*

I LOVE THE FACT THAT EVERY TIME THERE IS AIBALAND ON SHUKUDAI, A SHO/JUN MOMENT TAKES PLACE. and I really had to say that in all caps.

LOVE SITUATION~ totally worth my money. (but as of now, I haven't pre-ordered yet because I fail like that)

DOUJINSHIS? omgyay! I only happened to read one arashi doujinshi and a sho/jun one. Hope she publishes the one she makes. Or has she published them yet?
